John Bassler

John Bassler was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska before going to college in Northern Arizona.  It was there he encountered Christ and met the Catholic community at the Newman Center, which inspired him to become a FOCUS missionary upon graduating college.  His favorite pastimes are hiking, soccer, reading, making obscure saint references, telling Alaskan tall tales, and cooking up meals for the boys.  Feel free to give him a holler!
